The Tilt and Recline Seating System is easily adjusted to precisely meet the individual positioning requirements of the child. While the child sits in the chair, a hydraulic actuator tilts the unit to its desired angle. In the tilt-in-space base, the chair tilts back 45 degrees.  The seat back reclines 10 degrees relative to the seat bottom.

The Seating System keeps the child fully secured with safety belts and body alignment features. These include a completely adaptable "H" harness for anterior chest support and an adjustable-length pelvic belt. A multi-axis headrest secures the child’s head position. It is height, depth, and angle adjustable and can be placed off center to meet the child’s unique positioning requirements. Laterals – both height and width adjustable – stabilize and align the trunk and pelvis, while adductors control the lower body and prevent the uncontrolled movement of the user’s legs; footrests with foot sandals and toe loops secure the child's feet. Each footrest individually adjusts in its height, depth, and angle position.  

The Tilt and Recline Seating System is accessorized to support the child in all settings.  When placed on the low base, it serves as a chair and floor sitter that allows the child to play and interact with peers on their eye level. Alternatively, the seat can be mounted on the high base to bring the child up to table height. Both the low and the high bases have wheels to allow mobility without disturbing the child’s position. With the booster base, the unit can be securely attached to any regular dining room or kitchen chair for meals and family activities. A stroller base makes it easy to enjoy a walk in the park or to travel with the Tilt and Recline Seating System. A removable, height adjustable activity tray is also available.
